A small review of my new MP3 Player :)

Well i just got my mittens on a brand new Ipod Shuffle from the lovely Tesco's. Which i am listening to music on now as i type this out, Brilliant!

I must say there is only one bad thing about it, no screen, but everything it has well makes up for it so that i don't even need a screen because of all its great nifty features.

It has a great looking design which is extremely pleasing to the eyes as one might expect from Apple, with white and greys.

Simple controls, well the controls are extremely simple on the front it has the standard play, pause etc.

On the back is a lot more fun though! Because there is no screen you will need to somehow see how much battery there is and my god this is a great little thing! There is a little button which has a small grey circle on it, simply push this little button down and the grey circle will change colour depending on your battery power! Did i mention the battery is inbuilt? Great!

Above the battery button there is a slider that does Off, Play through list and Shuffle, Shuffle is what this is all about it will pick songs at random basically.

No need for a usb cable either, the bottom of the Ipod Shuffle pops off and there is a USB Connector annother great part of Apple's design work.

We also get a lovely little present that comes with it, we get to turn it into a necklace! Well a necklace that plays music anyway! Taking off the clip at the bottom and clipping on the little gift they give you and you can sling it around your nacl!

I love apple and this is how much...the cd for the software they give you is even pleasant to look at, a great design on it!

I wonder how long they'll be making the shuffle? an mp3 player without any kind of display is tough!

I won a $100 apple store gift card that I will probably get in the mail within the next month.

The Ipod will be $80 refurb, then I'll still have $20 to spend for music at Itunes, however I do have some music that is compatible.

I do hate how Apple products do not support WMA, which is the main format my music is in...

Going to get a 1gig ipod shuffle with that, which should be big enough for my needs.

You can only recharge it 244 times before battery shuts off though, I hear.

You can send the battery in for a new one if battery life is below 50% for the first year with the warranty.

If it isn't a protected WMA it will work. If it is...well then burn it to a CD using Windows Media Player and rip it onto the computer using Itunes

Tescos? I never heard of that store. We dont have any over here. :(

We don't have any of those over here apparently.

Are you in texas or something? It sounds like the name of a store that would be in Texas..

Just did a lookup, tesco.com.

It appears like it's in the united kingdom.

It's a shopping store in the UK.

I just took all my music and added it to itunes library, worked fine for me!

And i don't need a screen, it's perfectly useable without a screen for me, and why is it so popular without a screen? A screen really isn't an essential for the shuffle.

I will have to remember to update this post if my battery goes, if ever.

I like the shuffle for working out at the gym, as it's really small, sounds great, and is inexpensive. I also like that it doubles as a usb drive for transporting files easily. Really good value now, especially if you pick one up used in good shape.

It doesn't support wma but it converts them, all my music works fine and it tells me when it converts files.
