Hey i just registered iPhones.mobi as i believe it to be a nice sounding name that fits the description quiet well. Although i have just realised that Apple may have a tm for this name

But it seems like a few different companies are bringing out products called the iphone.

Will i have any problems?

Yes of course, there were rumours that Apple will be coming out with iphones (works as ipod and a phone and possible camera). There is another thread talking about Apple going behind the word 'pod, just fyi.

I'd say in a couple of months, after iPhones explode on to the market this domain would be worth a lot. And of course mobi makes a great extension. I'd say atleast low-mid XXX+, but what do I know about mobi :P.

Possible tm issues, but this is a pretty general domain, so you might win in court. I would try to sell it for $1,000

There are 3 becuase with a somewhat generic term, trademarks apply to various areas -- some apply to voip phones (cisco's), other apply to routing equipment, etc. Cisco's TM is the only for a consumer phone, although Apple is arguing that theirs is the only cell among the group; time shall tell how it plays out, although I imagine they'll settle.

Regarding the domain, there are big TM issues, and I don't think it has any resale value.
