The DNS on the side of your ISP takes time to update. It should be updated within a few hours to 24 hours.

bit confused
All my domains on the new server worked but the main domain is still displaying the old content
this happed with me the last time to when i changed dns it took more than a week until i dont know what i done so the problem is solved
i think its a matter of dns chache or so which is showing z old content

does this mean i should wait more ? [which i dont think it will solve the prob]

you could try switching your machines dns settings to use opendns (http://www.opendns.com/), instead of your ISP's dns.
