Ask your host for backup ? Or you can try recovery if you have some old logs ?

Unfortunately, my host doesn't do backups :(

What do you mean by recovering with some old logs?

I didn't back up my DB.

If you don't have a backup, you're SOL, because the logs are deleted/gone forever, they're not hiding in a database anywhere or something.

Indeed... not having backups (at least nightly...) automatically done by your host is a risky situation - and if not, you should do them yourself manually or by a nightly FTP routine.

As said above, without a backup of either the MySQL IPB DB and tables... it'll be a huge challenge - actually SOL...

I know what it's like man. This has happened so many times to me!
Sorry about the loss of your posts :/

In IPB once you do something like that, it deletes it from the MySQL database as well (since all the stuff you see on your forums is directly stored in the MySQL db). They're pretty much gone forever, if the forum deletes it, the MySQL does. :(

I have wasted around nearly 1 hour trying to fix the problem through phpMyAdmin but it's still not fixed :( I never give up but it seems as though that i will never get my posts back no matter what i do! :( This sucks!
