This is a domain we originally registered, and have kept under registration, since 4/25/1998.

In the past we have used it to promote individual artists/painters.

We have had internal discussions about turning it into an artists/painters portal for artists to showcase and sell their works, but we've not had the time to bring that type of portal to market with the focus it will require to be a profitable success.

While the domain does not have the broad market options that paint.com has, we do feel there is still a wide market for this domain. We've had inquiries over the years with offers not much over the regfee and would rather hold it in our portfolio than sell it for lowball prices.

Any insight you can provide is appreciated.

Learnandmaster.com has a nice video based course on painting that they sell. They run an affiliate program through shareasale.com, but with a domain this nice, maybe you could work out some kind of revenue share with them, and let them build an interactive site on the domain. Just a thought.
