Ioncube problem - Ipanel

Hi. Yesterday I purchased the Ipanel script from IHostDev.com.
When I tried to install it, I got the error

 The file /home/xxxxxx/public_html/hosting/includes/include.php cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader. If you are the administrator of this site then please install the latest version of the ionCube Loader.

Ioncube is installed on the server, and the ioncube loader-helper reports that everything works fine.

However, Ihost helpdesk says

disable_functions system, exec, passthru, dl

must be enabled.
But my webhost says, it must not because Ioncube isn't loading dynamically, but installed on the server.

Now e-mail follows another e-mail with no end in sight. Well, and the customer (me in this case) in the middle with a not working script and no idea what they are talking about.

Anway, I'm wondering, if someone experienced similar issues with Ipanel and may have a suggestion how to solve the problem.

Perhaps someone knows a script that also requires the ioncube loader and that I could use for a kind of testinstall.

you can download the evalution version of ion cube and create a "Hello world" test.

Does it not mean, that iconcube is installed and properly running? Sorry, I'm really new to that.

Seems ok, i'm not expert.

Make sure they are running the latest loaders i guess

Ask your host to if they installed IonCube globally.. Update the loaders. Otherwise use the link above and download the NEWEST ones for your os. Put them in the ionCube folder.

Thank for the replies. The folder includes already the newest versions. But maybe that on the server is an outdated ioncube version installed. We will check this.

I cannot run IonCube on my server unless the proper loaders are installed on the server. They do not allow dynamic loading.

Even if your host allows dynamic loading, the version running globally on the server will override what you install locally.

Unless you have a dedicated server, Ioncube problems are a pain to resolve - good luck!

My webhost has ioncube globally installed. So there is no need to enable functions system. But seems the version was outdated. He updated today after a very helpfull reply from Ihost. Seems that things are working now. So after all the matter was solved in a professional way. Thanks for your replies, Gents, and your time.
