Just wanted to introduce myself. Selling domain names is somewhat new to me and a couple I met at a local restaurant referred me to this site in order to try and become more well-versed.
A family member of mine unexpectedly passed away and I have been put in charge of managing/selling 141 domain names. Transferring the information to my name was self-explanatory, however, I am finding that coming up with a price that elicits some type of buy/sell introductory conversation has been a challenge. All of the domains were listed last week and I think the # of views has been pretty decent thus far (most are mid to high single digits but I do have a few that have 2-3 dozen). Problem is, as mentioned, none of them have resulted in any inquiries. Having a sales background, I would think cold calling on 141 potential customers in an untapped industrial complex would result in, at minimum, 5-15% interest (assuming there is a need for the product/service). Maybe domain sales are a totally different monster and I have to lower my expectations?
With that being said, any information on how to properly navigate this site - i.e. useful articles, pricing/listing recommendations, do's/don'ts, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
