Interpreting Overture Results

I have identified some potential domains which show up on the overture search tool as having a limited number of hits, (e.g. 30 for the keyword including extension). Question is, does the overture tool estimate total traffic for the domain or is this reflecting only traffic which originated via an Overture search?

Would be grateful for any advice?

Overture results is a count of how many times a term was typed into the engine in a given month. so in your case your domain specifically was searched about once a day.

Whats the overture without extension?

So it's only where overture is the search engine. Anybody have any idea what proportion of web searches are via overture?

For info the sites have about 100 times the hits without the extension.
