Not too sure that what Sharp is offering will become very popular, as (quoted from article) "Users can not troll the Net and go wherever they want, he added. When they use Aquos Net, users are actually connecting to servers in New Jersey owned and controlled by Sharp, not to the publishers directly. Sharp's servers then push content down to your home."
However, it may give users the idea that they can view the internet on a tv, and eventually they will just get a tv that can double as a computer monitor so that they can decide what they see and hear from the internet themselves.
