Just watching a business programme on the BBC which stated that UK internet purchases were up 30% (to GBP 11 billion) in 2006 to the previous year.

One of the main reasons that they give for the big year on year rises, is that banks have increased peoples trust for online financial transactions, through their online banking.

So, it is so good to see how many banks are using .mobi at such an early stage!

Final point, that GBP 11 billion is only 4% of total retail spending - guys and girls - we've still got 96% to go get!!!!

This makes me think about some .com hand reggs that I did last year. Last year, many of them were low traffic. Now this year some of the traffic stats are up 200%.

Just from domaining, I can tell that there are a lot more people online in 2007 than in 2006.

The confidence is up for online spending, but so is the sheer volume of people online.
