Integrating PayPal Website Payments Pro?

Hi,
I am currently accepting paypal on my website, but I've been losing a lot of customers due to the fact that people can't figure out that they don't have ot have a paypal account to pay....

I have to use paypal as my site is programmed to use the IPN.

Anyway, I see that paypal has an option for the "website payments pro" which allows you to accept cards right through your website. The documentation says that you can either use a third party shopping cart with the API or integrate it directly into your own site with SSL etc...

The problem with using a third party cart is that my site sells graphic design services and I don't want people adding more then one item into the cart. I basically want a "fill out the form and select package and pay for it" setup, which is how I have it set up now with paypal.

My question is: does anyone know of a shopping cart that does that, or have any experience in integrating Website Payments Pro (I'll pay well if I can get a talented programmer to do it).

Let me know if you need clarification.

Thanks,
George

Hi,
Yes I realize that, my company is US based so that's not a problem. (I take it you mean to have the service on your site - not to purchase a product using it?)

Still need advice!

I don't have much experience with APIs, but couldn't you just add a note or two stating that Paypal only handles the payments and that your customers don't need to have an account to check out?

This is what I was thinking as well... after interpreting your OP. It WOULD be much easier :)

Trust me, LOL, I do have very clear instructions on how it works. People in general tend to be very, very stupid.

The Website Payments Pro seems to be the most efficent way to make sure no customers are lost in the checkout process.... if only I knew how to install it...
