Installing Databse

Hello, um i m doing a tutorial on how to do a login script in php but it doesnt work so i assume i gotta install the php/apache/mysql

firstly, i kept on getting lost in the tutorials, and then i dont quiet get it.

can someone help me install those three components and anything else if necessary.

I'm assuming you're doing this on a server. Most servers have PHP installed so you can cross the PHP part out if it's installed. Apache is probably already installed and MySQL. You would just have to create the database, username and give the user access to the database and configure your script with the database and username and the way it connects (usually localhost).
