Installing a masked counter?

are there any scripts that i could install that records how many users / hits i get per day, etc. Somethign that the users won't see, the one on my helm control panel doesn't seem very accurate, it says i'm getting 5 hits per day, when i refresh my site and visit at least 50 times a day, when i change or update things, and i know at least 20 other peoples with different ip's go to the site daily.
