So obviously inviting a lot of speculation but I invite you to provide your own reasoning for making sense of the below domain sales. I cannot identify anything about each, from just the names itself, that would support the sale price. Is it just the scaricity of the short domain names? the .com? Combination of all? Seems arbitrary.

There are only 1000 possible NNN combinations available to register, so they are pretty rare

The main standout on that list is 365 . tv - there are 365 days in the year (except leap years) so it has some meaning - the domain does not even resolve....It also sold in the .uk extension...

I am not involved with numerical domains, maybe someone who is can share a bit more info on the above sales.....

I think the Chinese market/investors like buying numerical CC domains, they also like Number domains in general - 8, 2, 6 and 9 are considered lucky - with 8 being the "luckiest" number.....

Because these are liquid domains with limited supply as @NickB said there is only 1000 NNN combinations.

But some of the sales prices in the list are crazy high!
I have no explanation.
