Hello,


Does anyone know how many infractions get you banned? I have already gotten two, one by accident & another for following what others were sharing and doing the same (which was considered spamming). Not too bad I guess for a beginner with 140+ post. I've been kinda laying off from participating in here anymore b/c I don't want to mess up.

I am worried about it and don't want to get the boot.

I was told a while back that its 20 points but depending on what you did you can have your account closed for one thing, you would need a member of staff to confirm though

It's 20 points, but one infraction could close it automatically
if it is for repeating the same thing over and over.

You also did not receive the infraction for "following what others were sharing"
you were the only one who did it

Don't follow...just read the rules then you won't have to worry.

I have a few more posts than that and have never had an infraction AFAIK. I'm sure there will be others who have not either.
Mis_ chiff is correct of course, knowing the rules is the best way to stay on the strait and narrow.

Well that makes me feel bad. I gonna watch my step going forward. Maybe I can avoid future mistakes by paying better attention.

I got 12. 7 for duplicate account (I messed up my first one) and 5 for being impolite. I had another 5 reversed.

The number of points seem silly.

5 pts for being impolite? I thought it was funny. I thought the target of the joke would too. Apparently they complained.

I often wonder what happened to Jaco. He got banned. An odd duck was he.

Good mod(s) makes forum growth but bad mod(s) ... no comment.
More and more people go to facebook now than forums,who lose on profits? Owner(s) certianly not users ?

20 points mean two mistakes, well if some one do 20 times mistakes he/she is not sensible to understand what he is doing again and again and people having no sense must be ban. thats good but i wish it was like DP they with draw ban after 3 months.

You don't have any infractions, this incident you are talking about was 2 years ago,
and you admittedly knew what you were doing would have raised the red flags

i will add my comment,overall,the mods here and the traders are quite good.
my bad experience has been at DNF,very negative.i have never experienced worse people than the traders there.im not sure why that is fact,but it is.i had a couple infractions here at NP's before,but many great sports stars have also gotten some penalties or infractions before.rules are rules though,so since i don't own this website,no choice but to stay within the owner and mods guidelines.

I think Infractions should be reviewable and more transparent.

No Transparency = Conspiracy.

The .TV forum seems to be getting a few infractions. Now, I know we can't follow rules, but it seems excessive and the mods seem to be infraction happy at the moment.

it's already where Person A thinks Person B has none but deserves some and Person C has some but shouldn't etc etc etc.

I find that the infractions given sometimes are unfair and there is no possible chance for them to get reviewed again.

The forum is nice but sometimes, the staff wants to make members being afraid of getting banned once they login in the next time..

Also the period is too long, you need to wait 1 Year+ in order to get your infraction expired!

I hope that these points get revised.
