I think you have government bailout being good for development since it is recent and topical. The rest, sell off or don't renew. For future concerns, as new domainer, you should not base your registration on estibot.

You should reg domain base on
1) short (as short as possible)
2) base on a product or market

Dont' register base on verbs or adjective.

The geos and the architecture and year sites have potential as developed minisites. I wouldn't expect too much by way of offers though - regfee on all.

Good luck.

I'd develop them all into mini sites. I'm doing that currently with a bunch of .infos I just bought

All the names seem worthless but governmentbailouts.info would be the one to develop if you do it soon.

...

Hardly. Not everyone is into poker and porn sites. The retro, vintage and antique markets are huge. There will also never be a shortage of interest in history and architecture. Versus government bailouts which is considered a "current topic" at best.

governmentbailouts.info is the only one I like. You would definitely have to develop it with some useful information though.

Yeah. It would be appropriate to document this crap. AIG especially, those idiots are ridiculous. The auto industry exec's are losers as well. These people are all losers that clearly are not capable of running a business.

LO$ERS!

IMO you should change your evaluation methods. Instead of using the Google search results you should use the Google Keyword Tool. It will tell you how many searches that particular word or phrase gets per month.

I set it on "All Countries and Territories." Using VintageStyles.info, enter Vintage Styles and click Get Keyword Ideas. In the far right column change Broad to Exact and check the numbers. Vintage Styles gets about 400 searches per month while Vintage Style gets 5400. Not bad for a COM but not much for an INFO.

Take for example StorageBoxes.info. It's a nice generic phrase that gets 74,000 searches per month. I aim for 100,000 with INFOs but 74,000 ain't bad. It also has a CPC of $2.58 which is also pretty healthy.

I checked six others and I'd agree with dnb8 and go with retrostyle. But you would still need to look at the CPC's.

retrostyle - 5400
tostada - 4400
snapdragons - 2400
colonialarchitecture - 1900
governmentbailouts - 1000
hawaiiantravel - 590

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

If you're going to develop minisites, good generic keywords will give you a huge jump start because high search numbers mean that your potential traffic is already banging on your door.

I was lucky enough to find BigBangTheory.info available just recently. It averages 368,000 searches per month with a CPC of $3.11. It should produce some good money if I develop it properly.

Good Luck !!!

I own a design and marketing company, I don't think that I buy domains for the same reasons most people here do. I buy terms that have importance to me or to markets I am involved in. Specifically, all things vintage, antique and other things of historical value.

I am enjoying all of this feedback though, don't get me wrong. Its nice to hear others perspectives. That's why I posted.

I am collecting .info(s) specifically because I want my sites to be very informative aside from offering services. As far as advertising on the sites, I will be picking out my own advertisers and not using any form of PPC programs.

I also own several com/net/org extensions of the .info(s) I have. My focus for the info(s) is pretty specific though and all sites will be linked together as a portal.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Well NOW you tell me !!! Just kidding.

You're right though ... we definitely don't buy domains for the same reasons. But if you want to develop any of the info's above you'll have to work a little harder than if you were developing names with high search volume.
