Recent registration for me. Wayback machine dates the domain as 19 years old, i.e first registered in 1997.

I am fairly sure there is decent value here, but I'd like to know what experienced domainers feel about it.

InfoMail.Net sounds pretty good. Its value will really depend on whether some tech company (mail hosting provider, etc) will like the name. If so, it can easily fetch low - mid XXXX imo, see stats from previous similar sales in .NET:

A nice domain, but in my experience .net is a tough sell. As it is a reg, I think it shouldnt be too hard to make a profit. I would accept low $xxx offers if you get any in your shoes.

Look at the dates. Only mailplatform.net was sold in the last 15 months, all others go more than 4 years back. A lot has changed in 4 years, so I don't think these numbers mean anything now.

Doesn't mean your not incorrect. In addition to this "volume" of sales isn't a viable metric to use for any valuation due to the variability in the execution time of a sale. Some things are bid on till kingdom come, but, if the seller doesn't believe the bid offered is adequate, the name will continue to have bids until one meets a valuation that can be considered. A sale might take years to complete because of this. In addition to this, the keyword "Credit" has the exact same amount of volume as the word "Mail" in terms of sales within the past year. Both have had 5 completed sales between August 13th 2015 and today. Rather than looking at the timing of sales I think it would be better to analyze the bid volume for the key comination/key word on Sedo. By looking at that you are able to get a far better understanding of consumer sentiment than basing your analysis on a variable that can be affected by things like contract negotiations and unforeseeable extraneous circumstances that may delay a sale.
