i'm preparing for any unfortunate accidents. working on the assumption that if i die my parents will have no idea what to do with my domains it would be sensible to let them know vaguely how much they're worth. i've got lots of .tvs which are easier to evaluate because of the renewal fee and a country.com. these .infos are a trifle more difficult. who can help? it may be tricky to do them all so just do what you can. thanks

horoscopes
rental
petrol (that's english for 'gasoline' btw)
quizzes
poems
shows
fags
smokes
papers
CEOs
surprises
finances
options
pics
guns

Some of these are very nice, especially horoscopes, shows and finances. Some are less impressive. Checking the YTD sales chart on dnjournal.com for recent comparable .info sales, I see that CreditCard.info went for $25,500, Newspaper.info for $18,483, Names.info for $10,465, Solar.info for $8,500 and - hey, looky here, some of yours! - Horoscopes.info for $7,250 on 5/8/07, Rental.info for $7,000 on 2/27/07, Pics.info for $6,500 on 5/15/07, and Guns.info for $6,500...

I don't get it. Those last four are yours and presumably you were the buyer. You must have done your research at the time to determine valuation, so you should already have a good idea what they're worth, right?

the figures there on dnj were arbitrarily made up by the seller
- they were all part of packages with other stuff some of which i've subsequently sold.

it's like my selling the following 4-domain package for 40k then inputting each transaction value for dnj purposes as 10k each. clearly you couldn't suggest crappy-domain46754.com was worth the 10k listed there, but aaa.com, bbb.com and ccc.com are presumably worth more than $10k each.
aaa.com
bbb.com
ccc.com

Why are you worried about accidents? The more likely scenario is you wake up one day, realise what a muppet you've been buying the domain equivalent of a bag of Woolies pick 'n' mix and throw yourself under a bus. No, I'm only kidding, there are some nuggets in that list; particularly shows.info, poems.info and horoscopes.info.

I think it's fair to say they aren't going to leave your parents with an inheritance tax liability anytime soon but if you tuck them away for 20-30 years they might have your grandchildren wishing you'd hurry up and die. I tell you what would be funny, and that's if I read about your death in the paper and then pushed alexlikesmidgetshemalegangbangs.info into your domain account just before your parents see what you've left them. Hopefully, they won't get the wrong idea about fags.info either.

If you stumped up $30,000 on a batch of .infos you must have some idea how much they're worth. Spending that much on .info must put you in the top percentile of contrarian domain investors. Are you sure, you didn't just list them out to swing your dinkle, as Russell Brand might say?!
