I hope the webmasters at the armed forces websites don't also control the nukes, 'cause I think they were asleep at the switch on this one. This is my first foray into the .info world, because I needed to use up my free listings. Go ahead and say "reg fee", 'cause the reg fee this time was $0. Otherwise, I'd love to hear your comments and which one's you think are best. Thanks!

Oh yeah, if you are a Marine: I'll be donating the Toys-For-Tots.info, so don't get your jar-headed self all up in a tizzy! :)

Too bad recruiters don't have an affiliate program or you could make a killing ;)

I'm saying you hold these for at least a year and you have a good shot, right now I don't think anyone is buying .info's unless it's like "computer.info" because their being free destroys any perceived scarcity.

Agreed with Allen, if you want to let these domains actually be worth what they are, you'll have to hold onto them for at least of year, so you'll have to re-reg them

Hold them for a little while indeed, will be able to give you a better appraisal with a improved .info market. :)

Appraisals IMHO.

ill agree with that.... i think .info's market will be rising

Is there prejudice against .info's in the search-engine formulas, or can a .info rise to the top of rankings if same methods are used for a .com site?

Absolute no difference when using a search engine. The reason why .com become more successful than .info is because .com means commerical and .info means information. Thus, most companies will go for a .com but not .info. I have seen .info having as much backlinks as any .com. .info is better off only for information sites, unlike .com.

Sorry, I see little value in any of these names.

The .info market is most definitely on the up but names with "the" - etc will have little chance. Short and specific is the way.
