I opened this thread because there is other thread to showcase indian domains, but was only .co.in and .in domains.

I think I used a site that was showing "Names" domains available, searched on google and got like 200,000 results so decided to reg it

I think it may be name of north-east indian ppl's who are near to himalaya... Hima in sanskrit means Ice (Thus the name of Himalaya)... All the best with that name

I think that indian names . com are a good investment-

Up and coming economy with lots of educated and wealthy indians abroad
Easy to hand reg as many regged domains are eurocentric.

I also think that .co.in has a future but have doubts about .asia - such a vast continent with loads of languages and cultures that mix little. IMHO there is no asian identity, but strong indian, pakistani, chinese etc ones. I have one .eu (toots) and am glad I left it at that!
