Another beauty in your portfolio.

Usage for Native Americans or India proper, I would say end user no less than low $xxx, xxx with a very high upside.

Owning Indian.co.in which gets a fair amount of traffic you have me drooling :gl:

Sounds excellent to me - is that your parked page on there at the moment ? If you've just acquired it you should know better than anyone else how much it is worth. Where did you get it from ?

Thanks for everyone's opinions. I do appreciate them all.

I just got the domain today, and yes, that is my parked page with dotzup (great company as far as I've been with them, great payouts.etc. - and no, I've no relationship with them :) ).

I do have my own idea how much it is worth but I like to get others opinions/ideas on the domain. I am always open to new avenues to pursue for development/parking/possible audiences. eg. I had never even heard of indian motorcycles, and now it has been mentioned on 2 forums (I've made sure there is nothing that could be confused at all with their TM).

JQ sounds like you've got yourself something special - but are you going to tell us how much you paid for it and where you got it from ? I assume you didn't just reg. it for $10.

I bought it for a lot of money, which I have made from domaining since 2000.

Well done - hopefully in a few years time I will be in a similar position ! Especially as I just regged DasWetter.tv (German for The Weather) and I hear The Weather Channel is to be sold for around 5 billion USD. 20% of that would do me !

Wow, great domain. In my opinion low $xxx, xxx but with the right end user this could reach much higher.

Hi advaita,

I realise that you were joking with the 20% quote, but on a serious note.

I dont mean to come across as preaching, but I think one of the main mistakes that newer entrants to the domain business make is mistaking the line between development and domain names.

Google.com would be worth $0 as a domain alone. With development, worth $80Bn? (give or take) now. Weather.com as a domain alone would be worth about $5M or so(guess without knowing traffic before development), with development $5Bn. DasWetter.tv is worth 10-20x yearly profit (of course taking away reg. fee costs with tv). With development who knows, but now, unfortunately $0.

Of course all these are market prices for domains. There is of course the odd domain that sells to an enduser for a price irrespective of branding and/or earnings.

Sorry for the long, and possibly flawed post, but just something I've noticed being in the domain business I'd like to point out to save newer people money.

Big difference between potential of a domain and inherent value.

Sorry italiandragon, I'd like to keep the price private. But all I will say is, it wasn't cheap.

"grt buy"

Thanks for the compliment, but you might not say that if you knew the price. ;)
