Folks,

can i increase the parked domain pagerank illegally? will my parking host (ex. sedo) detect it once i got pr and more traffic?

Folks, don't talk about honest here :lol: . coz i also know its illegal. but ppl doing it. i just only want to know weather this will be detected by my parking host (example sedo)

Parking companies have the right to close down your account if the traffic to your domain is suspicious. This means withholding any outstanding payment for all your domains, not only the one in question.

There are two major ad feed providers for parking companies who regularly report suspicious domain names to the parking companies. If a parking company receive such a complaint, they must shut down the domain name (and often the account of the owner) or else they risk loosing the ad feed provider.

Therefore, not only the parking companies are analyzing your traffic and domain names but also the ad feed providers. I would strongly encourage you NOT to alter your domain name's traffic in any way, or else you risk loosing your account at Sedo and getting banned.

Just a friendly advice from someone who bought a domain name without investigating the traffic source before adding it to his Sedo-account

Did you mean we must take any attention before buying dropped domain ? I think it almost impossible to throw all back link built by previous owner.

In my case I should have asked the seller for more thorough stats before buying, but with dropped domain names the situation is obviously different as you have little or no stats.
