images.ws sounds much better!

but .ws can't be trasferred out of the registrar, and that's what kills .ws domains...

They can be transferred now (if your registrars have implemented it in their interfaces). It just changed at the registry level this January. :tu:

Great, truly premium name, Images dot ws. Since .ws can be transferred now, interest is steadily growing among people who shied away from it because of the restriction. I would not sell for $250 at this point. :o

Yes, ws are now transferrable ! you can check in the faq of website.ws
and renewal is less than $10/year for more than 3 letters with my registrar

I told sedo to update the automatic details ("Important notice") for ws sales because they're still saying ws must remain in the same registrar, this is wrong... And that "the registry are subject to registry renewal fees that can be higher than the typical fee." which is right only for less than 4 characters... But Sedo is very very slow for updating !

Maybe the fact that ws names can now be transferred to other registrars (those who know that it is now possible) is changing something ? And that standard .ws domains can then cost less than $10/year ?

Either hold it or sell it for at-least $500 and up. The .ws may be killing the value now but in the future it will definitely sky rocket. DONT let it go for $250 or anything ridiculous like that, you'll regret it.
