I'm confused

I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself in the welcome center,but then I saw the rules.it says it has to be a unique message and I saw some closed account just saying hi and hello and who were welcomed by the senior members.but isn't it supposed to be just hi and hello in a welcome center?well i'm still afraid,is there any risk of my account being closed because I'm saying this?

Saying Hi and Welcome is not a reason for an account to be closed so I am guessing there was more to your friends account being closed.

We do however consider copy and paste messages in the welcome centre as spam so we ask that you keep messages alittle different and try not to post lots of messages the same, seconds apart.
