Some people might if they judged the company off price.

I don't think any company is going to say "Hey, we really aren't legally registered!"

And when they have the good price, unfortunately, the customer usually doesn't care.

Very True. No company is going to come up and say we are not legally registered. Some people do give more priority to the price of the products or services they offer rather than the legality of their business.

Legally Registered doesnt bother me, Its what they offer and what previous customers have to say

No, I don't want to do business with an illegal company, but the question is very broad, and there are no details provided. It might be a simple permit that was overlooked or the owner forgot to renew, or it might be a more serious and deliberate infraction. I would want more information before passing final judgment on such a scenario.

To clarify this question, what exactly do you mean when you say "legally registered" ?

That can be taken in so many ways!

Are all hosting 'companies' registered, i highly doubt it!!

I also agree it's a quite vague/ambiguous question with no context provided. "Illegal business" and "legally registered" have two different aspects entirely, the former being a questionable nature of the business involved, while the latter having to do with proper business documentation...

Take a look even at the webhosting offers section here at NP, also doubt most of them are registered in their respective jurisdictions; although, there isn't always a need to formally register depending how much they make per annum, etc.

Is under an LLC or is under an incorporated buisness.

For instance, NeonCube Internet Solutions is not legally registered as NeonCube Internet Solutions Inc or LLC. But rather, we're Goodyear Services Inc. DBA NeonCube Internet Solutions.

Operating "illegally" is not a smart thing to do. As getting sued is fairly easy, and without an LLC or corporation behind you, the owner is solely responsable for any and all damages if legal action is pursued.

There are lots of web hosts running illegally. Most claim to be registered LLC's or what have you.
