Hi, just wondering is there anyone investing in IDN .tv? Love to hear your thoughts and what languages would you invest in? :tu:

The only disadvantage Arabic has over other languages is that it is a right to left language, but bottom line it really depends on the keyword quality/match to .TV ext imo.

I personally see alot of sense with IDN.TV , since idn's are now NativeLanguage.EnglishExtension i feel TV is the best extension for that reason as long as the domain matches the TV ext. perfectly.

i hold at least 20 idn.tv i.e soccer.tv in over 9 languages, Chinese Sports.tv,internet.tv...etc etc . most .tv's i paid xxxx for.

Time will tell but the inevitable internet TV integration should grow beyond any expectation.

.tv would be .tivalu

it wouldn't translate to .tv in other languages

I've got one Arabic .tv that is paying for itself every month. Russian, I'm not sure. There are still some REALLY good Arabic.TV out there. There's one I KNOW I will regret in the future if I don't buy it, but I'm just so screwed on funds right now.

Scratch that: There's abut 10 that I want but cannot spend 300$ on right now.

Москва.com (Moscow.com in Russian) was recently sold for $15K+

Premium Arabic IDNs are selling for 4 figures at SnapNames and various IDN forums.

Two Korean IDN Names 핸드폰.com and 휴대폰.com (CellPhone.com & CellularPhone.com) sold for more than 70K.

aşk.com (Love.com in Turkish) sold for 14K+

装修.com (Home Renovation in Chinese) sold for 10K+

My guess is, .TV will catch the IDN market within a year or probably soon.

My conservative estimate: The current value of IDN.TV names are 3 - 10% of the value of IDN.COM names. :imho:

why don't you learn how to read before you make a comment...> I have IDN .tv as well. However the poster posted misinformation saying .tv would be idn.idn (television in multiple languages)... As of now it would be "Tivalu" in multiple languages.

There are some, but there are non-disclosure agreements between buyers and sellers for IDN.TV--I don't have the specifics, but was given a good idea of what the domains were and the prices they went for--(I have done this with IDNs as well, but .com/.net). Not worth hyping IDNs just quite yet. Will release my stats in a year or so... I'm pursuing a couple more top keyword IDNs and then I'm done.
