Ideas for site?

I have a website gpsliving,com that is getting around 400 visitors a month from a few gps-related domains. I put the site together a few years ago with frontpage but it is so poorly designed that I am trying to determine if there is a better direction for this domain.

About 50% of visitors "favorite" the site so I think I am getting very targeted traffic. Would it make sense to change this site to be a forum for gps enthusiasts?

Any other ideas on how to build-up the site? Thanks!

Forums have to be maintained 24/7

Front page is very busy...you could rearrange the front page
requires too many clicks to reach the site

What about a definition of gps...maybe a Mission Statement

If your looikng to monetize it, you could make a GPS related wordpress blog with Ebay partner network (EPN) auctions using phpbay lite. All the software you need is free.

Look at antique-glass.org I have some content running with eBay auctions. I only put EPN on it a few weeks ago and it's making some money already.

I'd go with a wordpress blog on the front page then post reviews and articles - it will give it a current "lived in" feel.

the fonts for the menu are quite huge and heavy on the eyes use like arial or verdana font
the icons and the text are huge as well on the middle both make the text and the icon on the middle smaller.
