If you're planning to host multiple forums, then the S doesn't hurt. But it would probably take a bit of investment before it can take of as such.

Yep, decided to do in more ideas since I have way more than I can ever develop lol.

Well, different sections (each representing a different industry) on one forum yea. For example, Invision Board lists each subject as a "Forum".
