Well basic forum site, very graphically heavy, maybe you should replace some of the graphics with a color of something like that

its working for me... it looks nice, but again, is graphic intensive- which works as long as your site... and everyone else has the bandwith. Perhaps you can offer two version, and remember which one your user likes with a cookie.
