i87.org is a free url redirection service and has brought in a large amount of revenue. This site first opened in January of '04 and quickly became a success. However, the previous owner let the domain drop and I was fortunate enough to acquire it. In September of '05, I relaunched a free url redirection service at i87.org. 3 months later, without any advertising, the site is growing fast with 270+ members signed up for the free service.

In the first week of November, i87.org topped $100 in Adsense on one day only! Apart from Adsense revenue, I have also made $120 from selling 8 $15 text links in October.

Miscellaneous:
-The site used 1.77 gigabytes of bandwith in November.
-There is only 50 mb of actual disk usage & 35 mb of SQL disk usage.
-The script it uses is called Milliscripts and it is free to use. The design is also a free template which I customized to fit the script. However, the logo is 100% custom.
-To run this site, your server must have wildcarded DNS enabled. If you have a dedicated IP address, then you are fine. It will not work on shared hosting because of the shared IP address.

This site requires zero - little maintenance. Occasionally you will need to activate members' accounts if they happen to not receive the activation email. Other than that, all sign ups are automatic.

Reason for selling: I need start up capital for a new project, domain related.

I emailed a Google Adsense rep. yesterday to make sure that my site complies with the TOS.

Am I in compliance with the TOS?

Currently, I have placed ad links on my website, i87.org, a free url
redirection service. They appear at the top of the subdomains (i.e.
kazaa-muzik.i87.org), but not on all subdomains. I have turned off ads for
certain subdomains or categories that violate the TOS such as sites in the
adult category and any gambling sites. Also, I do check for sites that
have adsense on their own sites and remove my ads from their subdomain
because only one publisher id is allowed. These ad links are targeted to
the content on the members' sites under the i87.org subdomain address.

If google does decide it does violate the terms would you give a
portion of the cost back to the buyer?

I also wondered how much work is it to go through each site to make sure
it isn't a porn site, gambling site or one that already has adsense ads? How long does it take you to take the ads off a site when you have to?

Tim, I've had Adsense on the site for 3 months already, and Google has not sent me a complaint. In the reply they sent me yesterday, they said that they would contact me if I did happen to break the TOS. So, currently, the site is not breaking any rules.

In the chance that Google happens to change the rules and deem this site unacceptable, well that is far beyond my control but I would be willing, yes, to assist the buyer in changing to another revenue source or network such as Yahoo Publisher Network, for example.

There is not much work required to sort out the adult & gambling sites because there is an individual category for each one. (When users sign up, they choose a category.) I have turned ads OFF in those categories as to abide by the rules. It is very easy to do that, just go to the admin panel -> categories -> adult -> ads off. Please feel free to ask any more questions pertaining to the sale, Tim. I would be glad to answer them and delighted if you decide to make an offer on this wonderful site.
