I would love to know what they are asking but don't want to buy it. I hate tire kickers and so I don't kick tires.
I do find myself asking that question and i don't bother the seller but curiosity really has me wondering what others do. Eg You own randomname. dot com and see random dot name has inquire about this domain. Do you ask them? (i don't have either name just an example.)
