Hi,
I recently was banned for generating 'invalid clicks' on Google AdSense. I know who clicked on them, since i was silly enough to tell some of my friends not to click on any ads, which consequently DID make them click it... *sigh*

Anyway, I really need my account back. I have a number of ideas and i will do anything to get my account back. Firstly, i was thinking maybe i should write a letter... A letter complaining? Or a letter of apology? Or maybe I should just try to sign up again and hope they don't notice (I doubt this will work)? Or sign up using a different name and/or address?

Does anyone know anyone who has been suspended and got their account back and how they did it?

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Apology or complain?

I'd say neither. Write to them asking what you can do. IF they respond they'll probably say there's nothing you can do but you can give it a go anyway.

IMHO it's not worth signing on again, they'll know. They know EVERYTHING!

My only advise if they don't let you back in would be to try another company.
Adbrite, Bidvertiser or similiar.

Make an apology, saying it was your friends. I think they have a heart too, and may be generous :)

Well to be honest i did try the apology first. I think it was quite well written and everything. But i recieved no reply. So, THEN, i sent them a letter asking what i should do. Suprise, suprise, still no respons. :S

I think you may get a response, but probably within around 2 weeks somehwere, i've asked Google the same thing :D previously and recieved a reply, but they turned me down unfortunately stating "we have certain policies".

All the best though!

once they banned you, you're forever banned on the same site. you can apply for another site using another email.

Not neccessarily.

I've tried using different websites, and different emails, but used the same home address, and they banned me for that reason (got an email from them).

So once your banned, your pretty much banned... :(

I tried signing up like 5 years ago, with an email I haven't used in many years and I don't even think I had a site then. (I got denied.)

Then, I tried signing up about a month ago and got an email saying I had already tried to sign up and they sent the details to my other email address. (I used a different email and site.)

So, they know if you are making another account. Kind of amazing..

there are rumours, coz im just too lazy to apply again, that using your friend's or wife's name and snail mail address will get you thru. still you'll be the one to get the check. you might want to try that.

Technicly, isnt it illigal for them to keep a record of your address, name, etc if your account is susspended? Im sure the data protection act has a clause that states this...

Why not register another site and use a P.O. box as your address?

I have tried registering at another site, using different names and addresses and websites but they either a) Dont accept me or b) don't even respond! :(

I would also like to use YPN instead, but i live in the UK...

I don't think it is illegal to keep records like that, as it serves a good purpose for them. But they cannot sell or give your details to anyone - THAT is illegal AFAIK.

You should now send a appeal email to them telling to close ur present account so that u can make a new one again.

No apology letter stuff will work here.
Also well when submitting the letter dont make them realize that u were really feeling guilty.

if so then u wont get ur acount back.

You can create a new one with diff address and diff name if incase u can too.
This time give a new site address to be reviewed.
