Does it matter? Does Amazon, Yahoo, Google, Bing do they have a meaning related to their content?

With the exception of something like Google, in a fantasy world if you happened to have a word like "Amazon" or "Yahoo" in COM, they are actually nice brand names. Like Apple is a nice brand name. Uber is a nice brand name. Those brand names are so strong and recognisable, they can pretty much sell any product, unrelated to the word itself. Taxi dot com could be a porn site, if it wanted to be. Recognisable brand strength that clicks is the difference. I don't want to give you the lesson in good branding, but what is "jesuto" and "goskia", apart from being a 6 letter combination?

Lol... So imagine Nokia and Google is a relatively new names and not a brand yet... would you still ask the same question? Does Telsa as any meaning to you?. I guess you are one of those who doesn't see anything good about building a new brand

I've already said a word like "Google" is an exception, from the point I was making. I think you're failing to see they hold value as brands because they've created strong revenue, recognition, trust, notoriety etc. Yes, Tesla does mean something to me, the name came from Nikola Tesla, a world-renowned inventor. What you've got are 6 letter combinations, and you can pick up a 6 letter combination via hand reg with ease, it doesn't make it valuable. Look at the number of 6 letter combinations out there, compared to 4 or less...its vast. You've got to see it from this point of view, and not the "maybe future", as a domain investor. The "maybe future" comes far less, than following solid reasoning. Good luck

When it comes to reselling domains it matters.

What is special about your domains vs the millions of other similar ones out there?

People can come up with some random "brand" on their own of similar quality without the need to pay a premium price for it.

You may help us a little, to make this session more fruitful.

How did you come up with these names? Who may be your potential buyers?

Goskia seems to be the name of a school in Nigeria. Tell us about the word Goskia, and the word Jesuto.

Thanks for your cooperation. Let's do this together.

Jesuto is a Yoruba name meaning... Jesus is enough.... The domain has a website which religious in content. (Christian website)

Goskia is a school name I saw while walking on the street. I playful checked on the website to see if it was a registered name, but it wasn't. So I brought it.

As mentioned by NamePros' Top Appraiser @jhm, countless combinations can be made with 6 letters (26x26x26x26x26x26, to be precise). Domain investing is for a large part about estimating your probability to make a profit with your domains, within a reasonable period of time. In practice, as a beginning investor, this is difficult to achieve with a small number of domains. With so-called "brandable" names you have to feel what has a chance and what doesn't. This takes some time to learn, and even then, the most terrific brandables can remain unsold for years to come, as is the case in my portfolio and that of many others. Try to bring diversity to your portfolio in multiple ways.

Not enthusiastic about these, sorry...

Read this forum from cover to cover to become successful.

Cheers, good luck, blessings, and welcome to NamePros.

Newsgregate is a decent brandable imo , I just don’t see it with the others. Unless you build a brand from scratch on one of them.

Why did you post if you don’t want to hear what we think? I agree with whats been said they don’t even sound pleasant. An open vessel domain needs to be pleasant to the eyes and ears. These are neither.

Wow, this is getting hot. Let me share my views (as an average person).

This is all about domains as far as I can understand.

jesuto (dot here) com

is a working website and for some people, it's very helpful. If you are into website, content, development, marketing, and monetization then work on it to make it like other brands.

Goskia is a school name I saw while walking on the street. I playful checked on the website to see if it was a registered name, but it wasn't. So I brought it.
This strategy might work for you if you plan to put content on it other than school stuff. because then you might face issues with trademark laws. Or someday they might contact you if it's a famous school in your place.

Experts here will guide you in the right direction. [Caution: I am not a domain name expert yet.] You will realize this once you start exploring the NamePros forum for more topics related to branded domains, selling, or buying domains, etc.

Everyone has random, bad, or ugly domains. I have it too. Important is learning. Which we all should keep doing. There is a lot to explore.

If truly believe in your domains and website then just throw 100 bucks at your registrar and reserve these domains for the next whooping 10 years. Take the challenge - flip for profit or start learning.

@ifyprada Do you agree mate?

I can respect that I have several domains I plan to use for affiliate sites. You just need to keep in mind the average end user doesn’t know or care about SEO or content creation. Your buyer could easily be an accountant , plumber or similar.

The name "Google" originated from a misspelling of "googol", nokia is a river, Tesla is the name of a famous person, amazon is famous river, apple is a popular fruit. They are known words. The river Nokia is probably not known worldwide though.

Brandable names need to be easy to pronounce. Most of the names you have mentioned are hard to pronounce. If you want to learn about brandability, you can find lots of articles at squadhelp.com.
