Be careful when choosing a host, a lot of hosts will suspend your site if it's using up too many resources. I see a lot of proxy sites outgrowing their hosting due to the CPU strain caused by some proxy scripts.

get your own server at EV1 servers. they're dirt cheap, $99/month and you have 1.4 TB of bandwidth.

you'll NEVER be able to get a good deal with a hosting reseller or one of these $2/month hosting places. i've had a proxy site for a few months and i know they can grow to eat up a lot of bandwidth and resources. i guarantee you 100% they will not honor the $2/month price on a site that eats up most of their servers bandwidth and resources.
