Real talk for a second.

This domain flipping thing? It can break you down. You find a name you love, you list it, you wait... and nothing. Lowball offers. Auctions that expire. And you just sit there wondering if you even know what you're doing.

Here's what I do when I hit that wall.

I give myself 30 minutes. Timer on. I dig around, try stuff, figure it out. But the moment that timer goes off and I'm still stuck — I stop. I walk away from it.

Then I drop it in the comments.

No judgment, no "go read this article." I'll actually sit with you and work through it until something clicks. I've been stuck in that same spot more times than I want to admit, and I know how much it means when someone just gives you a real answer.

And if you're not stuck — if you just had a win, a close call, or a deal that taught you something the hard way — share that too. I read everything in here. Your experience genuinely helps me think sharper, not just the other way around.

Just start your comment with QUESTION or COMMENT so I know whether we're solving something or swapping stories.

Either way, let's talk.

4l.coms are considered "liquid" domains. I decided to test how liquid they are and reduce them all down to a reasonable wholesale price of $150 on thursday the 11th of june.

I started with 31 4l names.
They are reduced on afternic, sedo, I have posted on socials and over 530 people have seen my namepros post that list them.

I have sold 3 so far (tuesday the 16th of june).

Standard STR is 1-3%.This is an STR of 10%. I was kinda hoping for nearer 30% as it is liquid domains at a wholesale price.

I will have to auction each one when they are 2 months from expiry as @InternetBS doesnt let me transfer 1 month or less.

They, to me, are not very liquid at all and I certainly couldnt flip them. And if that can be said of 'liquid domains', then, yeah, dependent on what you are trying to sell and what price you are trying to sell it at, you may have a long wait, or may never sell it at all.

Appreciate you actually testing this and sharing the numbers. 10% STR at wholesale is honestly not bad but yeah, "liquid" is relative. Lesson learned: liquid means easier to sell, not fast. Hope the rest move before expiry.

There's some truth to that. The middlemen always win. But individuals do flip . just takes the right name, right timing, right buyer. Harder than people admit though.
