Hey guys I got a question about hyphens in a domain and search engines. And this is also for a developed site not parking or anything.

heres an example

1. OnlineTexasHoldem.com
2. Online-Texas-Holdem.com
3. Online-TexasHoldem.com

First which of the 3 is best for search engines for the term Online Texas Holdem.

And more importantly is about #3 would this domain be worth picking up if you wanted to make a site about online texas holdem would it help you out much with search engines.

Thanks

From an SEO point of view, I'd say Online-Texas-Holdem.com would be the best.

Ok thanks the reason I asked because I had my eye on Online-SportsGambling.com I figured it would be worth a reg fee I also picked up Microgaming-Casino.com for reg fee.

Online Sports Gambling gets around 2200 on overture and Microgaming Casino gets around 1000.

So if I develop these domains and optimize them for those search terms that should be a big avantage over having some random gambling domain right?

Thanks

I think that it is usually better to not have hyphens. I don't know SEO.

If you can buy the hyphen as well as the actual name then buy both and redirect. Otherwise the non hyphenated is always better. The only hyphen name that I currently own is 4-02.com
