Like what @enterscope said, aim to get the very least 2-worded domains; if you have the budget, try gunning for one word.Com domains though it can get potentially costly in an auction. Domain investing is not randomly registering any domain and praying it sells for thousands of dollars; there is a lot of knowledge and wisdom to be gained from knowing what is valuable and saleable to an end-user.
