nope im gonna keep it and make it a communty site, like myspace kinda. it was already set up but i took it down cus its going under over haul. and im gonna build it on a vps server so it runs smooter ect

but i would sell the domain for the right price.

Why ask for appraisal and then value the name yourself?!

I believe this name is worth about $10 - I wouldn't have registered it.
This is not to say that to someone else it is a desirable name and they would pay you to own it. However if you have a look at what other names you could purchase for $40,000, try www.greatdomains.com, you will surely see how no investor, reseller or businessman would even consider paying you this much for daglobe.com

I wouldn't normally rise to this, but I'm not in a good mood and I'm fed up with the arogance of some people when it will only end in problems for yourself.
If you continue to think names like this are worth a lot of money you will have false hopes for your own future, alienate yourself from people in the industry and contribute to a static domain name market.

I am not jealous in the slightest, maybe I'm wrong, but if you offered me your name for free today I wouldn't want it as it has no obvious use and would not generate any income. I would simply not want to pay renewals on it.

I assume from the way you write you may be young and new to this industry so listen to what people have to say, you'll learn a lot from people.

If you develop the domain and you go in the wrong direction you will instantly attract a C&D letter from the company that owns that name and does business with. Simple as that.

If you believe that you can counter myspace, best of luck, others with less ego and deeper pockets (deep enough to make a long distance call) have attempted that and sadly failed.

I work for a advertising company. I can make any site big. It doesnt take very deep pockets to make a good website. or even get members.

Plus myspace is getting old, its time for a change. Myspace is nothing but SPAM.

The only reason myspace gets so much traffic is because people run massive amounts of bots on it. spamming, adding friends, advertising. 50% of there traffic is generated by spammers.

And im just jk about the domain name for $40k. like come on seriously.
