how to start a forum on my site?
i m a complete newbie.where to buy the script and all that.how to install it?what is the cost?i use godaddy?where would i get the designs ?will they b in script?what is script basically?i want to know all?thanx

I am a fan of phpbb. You can download it at phpbb.com. It's free. There are lots of good tutorials to get you started. But the first thing you will need to do is figure out if your hosting account meets the technical requirements for the forum software you want to install.

Once you have your forum up (and assuming you are using phpbb). You can dress it up a little with a theme/style. There is a good selection here

vbulletin is the best paid one.
