registrars How to register domains under company name

I have some domains under a personal account, but for legal protection and accounting purposes, I need to make sure that, from a legal standpoint, they are registered under my company.

What would be the correct way to do this? Is it enough to change the whois information, or do I need to create a new account with my registrar?

it might be best to create a new account specifically for, and in the companys' name.
rather than just changing whois, because the account holder would still be you.
