I have a phpbb forum within a phpnuke site. I was half-way through adding a MOD to the forum at /modules/Forums when I realised that some files were not present for editing. For example, the MOD told me to open "memberlist.php" under the main forum directory, but the file was not found at modukes/Forums and for the matter it was not found anywhere at all! Also, the /includes subdirectory was not within /Forums but outside of /modules, so would changing some files outside of the forum main directory work.
Main question: does a phpbb forum work in the same way when it's coupled with phpnuke? If so, how can I go about MODing it? If not, how can I transfer all my current phpbb database to a standalone phpbb? Maybe I will keep the main phpnuke site but link the forum to xyz.com/forum so that the forum would be a standalone and hence much simpler to MOD.
The members are adding up real quick since we came live 3 weeks ago, so I don't want to ruin the database by making a mistake. Thanks a lot for any advice,
DMax
