How to manipulate cell heights?

I'm trying to get the cell heights in my layout table (Dreamweaver MX) so that the cells along one side of my table are tight and close together, while there is one long narrow cell along the other side. For some reason when I make the cells shorter in design mode it looks the way that I want it to, but when I upload or preview it, the cells are stretched dramatically.

I'm not sure what the problem is. Your page looks fine on IE6.

I do have to say one thing about your site, the page is way to long and this greatly reduces the usability of your site. Studies have been done on webpage usability and has shown that most people will not scroll beyond 2 to 3 page lengths. While you are playing around with your design, consider braking up these longer pages into smaller, more digestible ones.
