Borders in dreamweaver mx

I know that when you create a layout table in dreamweaver mx you can set a border. Trouble is that when i do this i puts a border around every cell i create in that layout table as well.
Is there a way to stop this?
Is it also posible to give an individual cell in a layout table a border?
