How the... do they do that?

I'm slowly begining my journey into the realms of flash at the moment. Can't help wondering how some of the more interesting bit are done. Does anyone know how the little cards pop up and down so effortlessly on www.christophertrefrey.com. Are the just individual movie clips? How is the cool popping up and swinging motion created?

enter the 'once blind photography' section and check the bottom of the screen.

takes to long to lod but they use flash to do it..
I haven't loaded it but the whole site is flash

lol its not the swinging motions that would be hard its the graphics they just simply design the graphics then import them into flash and most likely use action scripts for the perfect swoop or you can use guides or use the crappy technique MOTION TWEENING BLECH! :p
