How much do you guys earn?

I haven't earned much.

It's very difficult to get anything.

At $0.02 a click, what do ya expect :|

But take time to develop a site you can be proud to show your friends and collegues, one based on your passion, and the skies the limit after that, IMHO...and so I'm working on that.

Same here as at Kerrijo. There are two possibilities, either you have some money to invest, make research for hours for a single domain, preferably typo, and out of 5 domains you get 1 lucky that makes 10x the regfee a year, with this method you can work for a month to earn a few dollars a day. The other possibility is to start making websites, a site with a nice but simple layout, updated daily can bring in dollars a day after a week of work. You decide. (of course everything i wrote is from my expereince, and can be totally wrong)

recently hit 3 figures/month with name drive. Love them. Pennies and cents with everyone else in my experience.

Biggest income is from referrals which means other people are making money too. Dont gve up on parkinbg. just do it better.

Nobody have yet to present a better parking service than ND.

i believe it would be far better to develop one's own site and then let it earn from its content, advertisements, affilaite programs and then sell it........it would give more value to total worth........otherwise if you have a nice domain, parked it and wait for that needy buyer to come and gives you a nice price.

Development will pay off better, but it's also time consuming and requires attention to design/seo/content -- it certainly can pay off well beyond parking, but it takes work.

Well, I make quite a bit from Parking, it covers all of my renewals (I have 350 or so parked domains) and then puts about $500 a month in my pocket. I have developed also, but find that it usually is not worth the effort (unless you have domains that gets no type-in - in which case you have to ask yourself, why did I register this crappy domain :) )

My best advice is to try NameDrive http://www.namedrive.com

I still have domains at Afternic, but in 1 case I had a domain with 700 visits and zero clicks at Afternic, I put that domain at ND and in a short period have 22 clicks on only 78 visitors. ND's page layout seems to be more condusive to Clicks. Payout is .51 per click for this term (education related). SO.... just some friendly advice. If you have not signed up with ND please use my link, as I will be rewarded for referring clients (but everything I have stated here is 100% true).

I actually make more from buying and selling domains then parking. Although parking does bring in enough currently to pay the renewnals on about 100 domains. Granted, some of those names are going to be history in the next few weeks, but I dont make that much, just a few bucks. I have a few development projects I plan to work on, hopefully the first one can pull in some buckeroos!

I think developing is the way to go, but in the meanwhile on my 150 some odd names, I generate enough for renewals and a modest profit. I average $130 a month, but it has been a gradual climb since august 06'. I seem to make make the most on namedrive. Some people have a nack for flipping a domain.

One example is a name I saw on an auction site a PR 6. I saw it as a name I could develope (though I didint bid in time:( Someone on NP saw the name bid and won for under $60, and flipped it on this board and another 3 days later for $350.

I fall more into the category of collector (prospector) and developer, but
hopefully will profit just the same. Personally I think being diversified is the way to go, as it covers all your bases. Some of my names are in future markets, a few .mobis, names to develope, names to park, typos, and then a handful of those dreadful newbie mistakes that I will let fade into oblivion....

September was my best month to date, from all parking companies combined I made about $175 ($140 at normal sedo), Then in October it went down to about $75. $45 at sedo and the rest form a few different places including 1plus.net. Crazy how the click prices in September at Sedo skyrocketed... from about 500 domains, %30-40 of which have not yet reached full potential, I register many future techs that have yet to come out. I will let maybe 50-100 drop if I cant sell them, just the ones I registered when I first started. To date I have sold about 50 domains and recovered all of my original registration costs. But at first I was only making $x a month. My highest sale has only been a low $150, but at an average of $60 each, it has recovered my costs and taking income. I have had high offers for single domains that never paid. I have found success in selling packages of names. Now parking is helping to renew domains and generate extra money. Plus I still have 500 names left to sell and profit from. It would have been easier to buy a good name develop it and then sell it for twice what I paid for it.
