have you had someone click the BIN button for your domain but payment was never made?

I've had it happen a couple of times lately on domains that have expired but haven't deleted from my account yet.

Wondering if I should consider renewing instead of dropping.

What do you think?

I'm not asking if you think I should renew or not. I'm asking if it's happened to you where you've had someone use the BIN button but never paid.

And I guess even more specifically, whether it's happened on expired names. Wondering if there's some sort of ploy to get you to renew names.

This is interesting. The only way to value the domain and see if it is worth renewing is look to see if you received any other offers besides those fake ones that just never seemed to have paid. It is tough to know if this is a shady way of making you think twice before dropping them.

But if you really want to drop them and you did not receive any offers anymore just put it on the auction on here in NamePros and see if you can at least make the reg fee. You will be surprised as sometimes you can make a whole lot more. A good example, we were going to let a name drop and expire since we tried selling it on different platforms and never worked then I mentioned to my partner let's just put it on NamePros auctions and see what we get and ended up selling it for almost 10 times what we paid for it. So it is definitely worth the shot.
