I sold my first domain on the GoDaddy Auctions platform on the 5th of August, a week later (Aug 11th) the funds were authorized and the domain was transferred to a new owner.

Yesterday (Aug 18th) I get another email saying you've been paid but still nothing has hit my bank account yet. I double checked my bank details I provided as they are correct.

I live in the U.A.E so maybe it takes a bit more time? Anybody have experience with this?

For me, It takes 15 to 25 days from the date of sales.

Wire transfer to India.

Better wait couple of days, then call GD support.

BTW, Congrats for your Sale.

Does anyone from Europe has experience with this? I've always used PayPal as disbursment method, so would be grateful if someone knows what is estimate waiting period for funds to hit the bank account.

@Claypere, I guess in your case they sent the money on August 17th, that's the only logical explanation why they notified you with 'You've been paid' on August 18th.

That's how it works when they send our money via PayPal. They first send the money and day after we get message: 'You've been paid'.

Pretty fast.
Wire: just under 2 weeks from the date of sale. (more than $5,000)
Paypal: Just over a week from the date of sale. (under $5,000)

Congrats on the sale! :)

I live in Nigeria and my wire transfers pass through a US-based Intermediary Bank. The delay is sometimes caused by the Intermediary Bank. However, on one occasion, after I received GoDaddy's payment confirmation and still no dough, I contacted GD Auctions for a tracer from them (or their bank). They replied that my complaint was being forwarded to Accounting. I eventually found out that my Nigerian domiciliary bank account was dormant (my fault), so no funds could be credited, until I had the account re-activated! So, these are some possible reasons.
