I am switching hosts...waiting for the nameservers to switch and it seems to be taking awhile.

How long does it usually take for nameservers to switch over?

Thanks!

usually doesnt take that long but your ISP usually doesnt recognize it for a while. try clearing your cache and restarting your computer. that usually works for me.

Try a DNS flush.

Start > Run > CMD > ipconfig /flushdns

This might help.

Depends on the registrar. For GoDaddy, it usually took me a day. NameCheap, 2 minutes.

It does depend on the registrar as well as your own ISP. I've noticed that my ISP lags behind quite a bit after the nameservers change. Try going to a proxy service like megaproxy and checking your site. I've found that often times the nameserver has changed, but my ISP is just taking its sweet arse time...
