I am thinking about getting some domains through Netfirms, has anyone used them? Do they freepush & have a control panel? Do they allow multiple domains to be registered at once?

Many thanks.

I've been with them. You can only reg up to 5 domains at the price of $4.95 each. The renewal price is $9.95.

How hard is it to transfer out from them? $4.95 pricing seems too good to be true if you can immediately transfer out (easily).

To change nameservers is easy, you can do it in the control panel.
I forgot if there's option to change contact info and push or transfer etc.

Not sure about pushing because I have no idea what that means, if it means changing the registration info that is all fairly easy.

As is changing the dns, the dns is locked by default, and you can only change the dns once you unlock, very easy after that.

Push means changing owner of the domain within the same registrar.

Pushing means to freely transfer the domain name from my netfirms account to another users netfirms account. Can I do that???

Edit: beat me to it fab :)

I've been with Netfirms for over a year for some of my names, and they're just great. I pushed a domain name once. Just forgot how I did it :). The live support will tell you ;).

:hi:

Actually you can register several groups of 5 IF you use different email addresses. That's what one of their Reps told me to do so I did.

Regged about 25 domains with them.
