1. Redirection is simply putting in either a link to where you want the url to go to, or there should be an area where you can redirect with your host. ie; my hosting is done through bluehost, so what i would do is add the domain as an add-on with my hosting service. i would change my dns at the registrar to bluehost's dns for the name. Then I would go to the "redirect" button in my control panel and put in the appropriate info there. Most, if not all, hosts should provide this as part of your hosting service.

2. I do not know of any registrars that offer free redirection. Moniker offers "forwarding" for $6/year per domain name. It's the same thing as redirect, as far as I can tell. So you wouldn't have to do it through hosting, like I do (I already pay for hosting, so I do all my redirects, email addresses and the like through them since it's included in my hosting package).

3. I do believe that it is a violation of google adsense to redirect traffic while using their ads.

4. Yes, you can redirect .in's and .co.in's to .coms if you desire.
